12/28 - It's a girl! Evy Monroe Carroll was born today!
12/17 - Baby Carroll is scheduled for delivery on Dec. 28th! (Unless, of course, he/she decides to come earlier.)
12/7 - Played the NC Heroes tailgate benefit yesterday. We were on top of a parking deck in downtown Charlotte. The veiw was awesome but it was FREEZING! It was a blast though. Even played a little honky-tonk!
11/15 - Got to play at Eternal's youth retreat this weeknd with a killer line-up! Jesse Schlicher, Niles Ferguson, Bryan Anderson, and Justin "Peaches" Felder - aw yeah, that's right. It was amazing. I hope everyone else had as much fun as we did.
11/1 - Kidron Valley Psalms release party was tonight. We played straight through the track listing. I think it was received well. We had a great time!
10/22 - Eternal worship cd's are in! Looking forward to the release party on Nov 1!
10/6 - Saw U2 in Atlanta. We were only about 15 ft from the stage and had the runway about 5 ft behind us. So, yes, I have been within 5 ft of Bono, Edge, Adam, and Larry! It was incredible, a stunning show. The intro to "Streets" never gets old, gives me chills every time. "Ultraviolet" was beautiful.
10/3 - Saw U2 in Raleigh. That stage is AMAZING! Probably the biggest rock show I will ever see in my lifetime.
8/12 - I've been in the studio over the past few weeks with some of my fellow worship leaders at Eternal recording songs for a worship album. We're getting to hear some rough mixes of the recordings and we're really excited about how it's turning out!
8/8 - Had lawn seats for Coldplay last night. Turns out that they had a small stage set up on the lawn where they did an acoustic set (including MJ's "Billie Jean"!) and we were only about 20 ft away!
8/6 - Made some small talk with David Crowder and his crew today. Cool guys. Jack was really diggin' R.C. Pro Am on the NES we had set up in the green room. Also spoke with some of the guys from Leeland. Really cool guys as well. Look for "Pure Bride" on their new record. Great song.

Hello. Well, here's a little about me. I'll keep it short, give you the basics.
Born ('78), raised, and reside in Rock Hill, SC
Married for 7 years to my highschool sweetheart (never give up, gentlemen!)
Four children: Jayden Elizabeth (5), Asher Scott (3), Jude Alexander (1), and Evy Monroe (born Dec. 28, 2009)
aside: the birth of my children . . .
The birth of my first child brought the experience of God's love full circle. It gave me just a glimpse of the depth of His love for humanity.
The moment she entered the world, I loved her more than anything and would have given my life for her had it been demanded of me.
I knew nothing about her, she had done nothing to earn my love, but I instantly loved her fully, completely, unconditionally.
The thing that really blows my mind is that what I felt is so insignificant to the love Christ has for me, and He does know me
and I do so much not to deserve it. I have been reminded of all of this each time God has blessed us with another child,
and I'm reminded of it daily when I look at them.

Anyway, why we're here:
Music is an incredible tool. My passion is worshiping with students and young adults, and I am truly humbled when God allows me the opportunity to do this. One of the things that brings me the greatest joy is to see people engaged in the worship of their Creator. Music is just a small piece of this worship but it is in that music that I find myself without pretense and uninhibited in communion with my God. When we worship together, my prayer is that we find ourselves there, together, in pursuit of God's guidance and conviction, with hearts that are full of hope because of His grace and mercy.
Thanks for stopping by!
